airing one's dirty laundry

[ This week she's on laundry duty, which isn't so bad considering it means she spends quite a bit of time alone doing repetitive tasks. Keeps her busy, and the state of clothing post end of the world keeps her from getting so comfortable she starts to let her mind wander too much. Nothing like the stench of blood and gunpowder from the ground team's laundry to snap her out of too deep a thought.

You might spot her loading up a machine, or sewing closed one of many tears and holes, trying to preserve clothing for as long as possible. Maybe you catch her reading some kind of medical textbook while she waits for the machines. Either way, careful when dropping off clothes, because she's definitely going to pause whatever she's doing and ask how you are.
